Baleares Flag

The Statute of Autonomy of Asturias, Article 3.1 provides that "the flag of the Principality of Asturias is the traditional, rectangular with the Victoria Cross in yellow on a blue background." In the arms of the Cross hanging uppercase Greek letters alpha and omega tiny, meaning the beginning and the end (the infinite extent of God). The letter omega is tiny and not capitalized, because it is in the illustrations oldest known.
